The Turkish coat here is a true copy of an original Turkish coat, originally sewn in fabric and of course not knitted. It is knitted on a circular needle with steeks and consists of 11 panels with different patterns. The pink colours form a beautiful contrast to the dark base colours. A real work of art.

Quantity

All coats with pattern knitting are worked on cirkular needle with steeks. In the pattern there is a clear description of how the model is constructed and knitted.

When knitting with 2 colours, you "weave" the colour you are not using in every 2, 3, or 4 sts for in this way to avoid long strands on the back of the model. This tecchnique is called Fair Isle and is used when working in the round or (on rightside rows) when working back and forth.

The coat is knitted in supersoft lambswool. The yarn is unwashed and it is recommended you wash the finished garment on wool program, or by hand.

You will need circular needles 3.5 mm , size 40 cm, 60 cm, 80 cm and 120 cm.
