For especially fine festive dresses such as the church dresses and the wedding dresses, a black sash with silver buckle is worn around the waist.
My wool sash is not, due to its material, worn for such festive occasions as a wedding, but I imagine a cool day when it would be perfect to wrap around a pretty dress or a gorgeous sweate
 
Also, we found out that it looks pretty cool as a headband.
 
If you have the book FANØSTRIK - COLOURS OF FANØ, there is no need for the pattern.
 
The sash consists of 1 base colour and 3 pattern colours - you choose your own colour combination
