PATTERN without yarn

QUADRANT SHAWL - TURQUISE/LIME. In my store on Fanø, I have a special piece of knitting that I use to show my customers how to knit fair-isle, what steek stitches looks like and how balls of yarn are rolled up into base and pattern colours. This is a piece of knitting with a pattern that has emerged almost by chance.
Still, many people have asked me if I could create a "real" pattern for this particular piece of store-knitting.
So consider it done.

This shawl is handkknitted in alpaca and lambswool. Small and large quadrants float on a basecolour of black alpaca. The lovely fan border with its natural shape is a serene contrast to the graphic quadrant pattern.

As we have to find room for new models on the webshop, we have to remove some of the oldest models. However, you can still buy the patterns on these discontinued models. Although they are no longer available in my range as knit kits, they are all so classic that they are completely timeless in design and colour.

You can buy your own colour combinations on my webshop, or you can stick to the "old" original colour combination as in the picture - or you may be knitting from your stash. You decide for yourself :-)
