This shawl is inspired by the beach roses growing on the sandy beach of Fanø. In the real world the roses are bright red, pink and white.

This pastel version reflects the coming of spring, where colours still are subdued.

The Mega Beach Rose shawls are knitted by hand by the most skilled knitters in Sri Lanka and it takes about 3 - 4 weeks to complete this masterpiece.

I have had the pleasure of working with these women since 2012 and each year 60 knitters knit for me full time 3 months a year.
