This hand-knitted shawl is a work of art and requires a very skilled knitter.
In return, you get a shawl that you will love for many years. The beautiful bird, butterfly and flower pattern is a delight to the eye, and goes well with the matching colours and the beautiful fan border.
The Flora shawl is handknitted in supersoft lambswool from Scotland.
We only knit these master pieces in limited editions.

The shawl is hand knitted in Sri Lanka. It takes 3 - 4 weeks to knit this shawl, or converted into hours approx. 150 - 200 hours, depending on the difficulty of the pattern and the level of the knitter.
Since 2012, I have supported a social enterprise where knitters sit around in their local environments in "centres" and knit. They are thus able to provide for their entire family. All the shawls are knitted from the same colours, but as each knitter chooses how she mixes the colours, no two shawls will be the same. We are happy to take pictures of the shawls we have, so you can choose which one you think is the most beautiful.
