"ROSES AND THORNS" I have designed this this shawl (and jackets) as a reminder that, even when roses and thorns go hand in hand, the rose (joy) should always have the biggest and the most predominant place!

Each knitter decides for herself how she mixes the colors, therefore no two shawls are alike. However, the same colors are used for each shawl, but the way the colors in the base and pattern colors will follow each other, will be unique for each shawl.

The Cornflower shawls are knitted by hand by the most skilled knitters in Sri Lanka and it takes about 3 - 4 weeks to complete this masterpiece.
I have had the pleasure of working with these women since 2012 and they knit for me full time 3 months a year.
